About this venue
Spegelsalen occupies a historic building constructed in 1899 as "Hippodromen," originally a circus venue that has since served church, theatre and entertainment purposes. The city of Malmö purchased the property in 1992 and carried out an extensive restoration, recreating its Art Nouveau splendour of mirrored walls and gilded coffered ceilings. Today the mirror hall hosts classical and tribute "Candlelight" concerts, weddings, private celebrations and corporate events.
