St Augustine's Church
Church in Wales parish church on Penarth Head, used through the year for organ recitals, choral concerts and hired events as well as regular worship.
About this venue
St Augustine's is the parish church on the headland above Penarth, part of the Penarth Ministry Area of the Church in Wales. Alongside its regular worship - Sung Eucharist at 10.45am on Sundays and a said midweek service on Wednesdays - the building is used as a concert venue and is available for hire.
Its organ underpins a long-running series of summer afternoon organ recitals, and the church regularly hosts choral and chamber concerts, including performances by Cantemus Chamber Choir and Cardiff University's Collegium, and brass and organ programmes.
