St Cosmas & St Damien Church

St Cosmas and St Damian is the Church of England parish church for Hassocks and Keymer, founded in Saxon times and largely rebuilt in 1866 in the Gothic Revival style by architect Edmund Scott, retaining some medieval stonework. It is a Grade II listed building with a restored organ (2009) and a peal of six bells, part of the Parish of Clayton with Keymer in the Diocese of Chichester. Alongside regular worship it has hosted ticketed concerts and events, and has a hall adjacent to the church used for community and church purposes.
