St Mary's Church, Wigton

St Mary's Church is the Church of England parish church of Wigton in Cumbria, a Georgian building of 1788 on High Street with a Harrison and Harrison organ, fine stained glass and interior galleries. It is open every day and holds regular Sunday and weekday worship, a robed choir and a monthly Tots Church. The church also serves as a concert venue: Wigton Choral Society, a local charity choir singing classical and contemporary choral music, stages its concerts here, most recently "Cumbrian Minstrels" on 16 May 2026.
