Sunderland Wall

Sunderland Wall is an indoor climbing centre in a converted warehouse at Doxford Print Works, Pallion Quay. It is one of the largest climbing centres in the UK, with a 23m main competition wall carrying lead routes and top ropes, 8m and 6m overhanging sections, low walls for children and separate bouldering areas.

The centre takes bookings from groups of all sizes - adults, families, schools and youth groups - and runs coaching, kids' classes and camps, birthday parties, a mobile climbing tower and Battlezone Archery. There is a cafe on site.

It is included here as a hireable activity space: it does not run a public performance or audience programme, and its bookable use is group and party hire rather than ticketed events.
