About this venue
Swansea Grand Theatre opened in 1897 with an original capacity of around 2,500, later reduced through a multi-million-pound refurbishment in 1983-1987 that modernised the venue. It now has a 1,014-seat main auditorium plus smaller studio spaces, programming a wide mix of touring theatre, music, dance and comedy.
