Community-run arts and performance venue for hire in the centre of Faversham, with six historic rooms and the modernist Gatefield Hall.
The Alexander Centre is a community-powered arts and performance venue for hire in the centre of Faversham, supporting local creativity and culture. Its historic rooms have been restored in heritage paint shades, and the 20th-century annex, Gatefield Hall, has been refurbished in a Danish-modern style in keeping with its modernist roots.
The rooms available for hire are Gatefield Hall, the Assembly Rooms, the Jubilee Room, the Sidney Room, the Mayor's Parlour and the Charters Room. The operator publishes a capacity figure for Gatefield Hall only.
Main hall
The centre's largest event space, a 20th-century annex with high vaulted ceilings and access to a walled garden.
The operator's own site says you can "put on a large-scale party (up to 150 people) within our Gatefield Hall". No layout is named, so the figure is recorded under Other in the source's own terms.
Technical and venue information is available directly from the venue.
