The Better Half Pub

The Better Half is a historic pub at 1 Hove Place, near Hove seafront, that has traded under several earlier names (including the Red Lion, Mary Packs, Sea Horse and Cliftonville) before taking its current name in June 2015. It serves cask ales and real cider, has a heated rear courtyard garden, and hosts regular entertainment including a long-running Friday afternoon jazz session run by the In Full Swing group. The pub is dog and family friendly and was a national finalist at the Great British Pub Awards in 2016.
