The Cleadon and District Social Club is a private members' and guests' club on Fulwell Avenue in South Shields, founded as a working men's club and institute in 1962. It sponsors South Shields Rugby Football Club.
The club runs two live music nights a week: local bands on Friday evenings and solo singers on Sundays. It has a games room, bar and lounge, plus a large entertainment room available for hire, and also hosts ladies' dancing nights, boxing shows and live sport.
