The Forest Inn is a chalet-style pub on the south side of the A35 at Ashurst, inside the New Forest National Park east of the village. The rustic interior is split in two by a large double-sided brick fireplace, with a lounge bar on one side and a raised stone-floored eating area on the other.
It runs monthly live music, and outside there is patio bench seating and a garden with a children's play area. The pub is dog-friendly. No capacity figure is published.
