About this venue
The Handyman - Handyman Bar & Brewery, also known as the Handyman Supermarket - opened in 2017 in a former shop on Smithdown Road, with a micro-brewery above the bar and a stripped-back interior of exposed brick. The front is a drinking room; the back room doubles as a live music venue and is also used for film showings, craft markets, art exhibitions, kids' martial arts, sewing groups and other community projects. It takes part in Independent Venue Week.
The pub trades seven days a week. No capacity is published for the back room and the operator publishes no hire terms, so neither is recorded here; enquiries go through the pub's own phone line.
