The Peer Hat is an independent bar and grassroots music venue at 14-16 Faraday Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter. The ground-floor bar sits above a basement live room that hosts indie, alternative, punk and experimental bands, DJs, poetry and open mic nights, and it is one of the smaller Manchester rooms that new and touring acts play early in a tour. The same building also houses other independent operators on its upper floors.
