About this venue
The Penny Theatre is a pub at 30-31 Northgate in Canterbury, in the student quarter north of the city walls. It takes its name from the Victorian penny theatre that stood on the site.
It runs a regular programme of live bands and DJs alongside quizzes and retro gaming, and is carried as a music venue by Songkick, Ents24 and Skiddle.
