About this venue
The Prince Albert is an independent, family-run free house and music pub close to Brighton railway station. Built in 1848 as a townhouse and converted to a pub around 1860, the Grade II listed building retains a five-room Victorian layout and 1930s bar counter. It is known for live music or a DJ every night, a rotating range of cask ales and real cider from Sussex breweries, and the murals on its exterior wall, including a 2004 Banksy piece and a large 2013 mural of deceased musicians.
