About this venue
The Witchwood is a pub and live music venue at 152 Old Street in Ashton-under-Lyne. Behind the bar is a 200-capacity live room that has been a hub of indie and rock music since the 1960s and remains a fixture of the North West pub circuit.
The programme runs DJs on Fridays and live bands on Saturdays, with tribute acts, club nights, quizzes and jam sessions through the week; the venue's own listings run into 2027.
