About this venue
For more than 40 years the stage on Haidplatz, in the historic Thon-Dittmer-Palais, has been the well-equipped studio stage of the Regensburg theatre, now the Staatstheater Regensburg. Its intimate room seats up to 140 and shows mainly contemporary drama, and since the 2022/23 season also music theatre and dance.
The entrance is through the courtyard of the Thon-Dittmer-Palais or from Baumhackergasse, and the access through the courtyard is step-free. Drinks and small snacks are served in the box-office room before performances and in the interval. Tickets are sold through the Staatstheater box office on Bismarckplatz and online.
