Theateratelier Bleichstraße 14H

The Theateratelier 14H sits, somewhat hidden, in the backyard of Bleichstraße 14 in the centre of Offenbach. It is run by Projekt Bleichstraße 14H e.V., founded in 1991 as a studio community of freelance artists in acting, visual art and photography. What began as an internal rehearsal room grew into a public venue: a theatre studio of over 100 m² on a former factory floor with room for up to 90 guests. Since 1999 it has offered a regular programme of evening shows and children's theatre, and the city's cultural-management office is a regular guest with its own events. The association's work received the City of Offenbach's culture prize for performing arts in 1999. The house ensemble, ensembleTHEATERATELIER 14H, has built a repertoire of plays for children from four upwards, shown among other places in the "Süßer Sonntag" Sunday series, alongside guest companies; evening programmes with guest artists run at irregular intervals. The autumn/winter 2026/27 season is mainly performances for school classes and nursery groups, with tickets also open to individuals, including the premieres "Familienbande" (22 October 2026) and "Hier kommt Didi" (8 November 2026) and a close-up magic evening with Michelle Spillner on 13 November 2026, limited to 40 guests. The rooms can be hired by theatre groups, associations and private people for talks, seminars, workshops, readings, theatre and music-theatre evenings and private parties, and as a rehearsal space.
