About this venue
In 2018 Think Tank? opened a smaller sister venue, Think Tank? Underground, in the basement of the Head of Steam on Neville Street, directly opposite Newcastle Central Station.
With a capacity of around 90 and its own bar, it is one of the most intimate rooms in the city and works as an entry-level stage for new bands as well as a stop for touring artists. Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park and The Futureheads have all played the room. It is also available to hire for live shows and club nights.
