Utilita Arena Cardiff is the city's largest indoor entertainment and exhibition venue, on Mary Ann Street in the city centre a few minutes' walk from Cardiff Central and Cardiff Queen Street stations. It opened as the Cardiff International Arena in 1993 and has been known as the Motorpoint Arena and, since 2021, the Utilita Arena.
The bowl is reconfigurable between fully seated, part-seated and all-standing layouts, and the building also carries exhibition space. It hosts arena-scale music tours, comedy, boxing, snooker, family shows and conferences.

Wikipedia's Cardiff International Arena article gives "5,000 (seating) / 7,500 (standing)" and says "Full capacity can reach 7,500, in a standing layout and 5,000, for a fully seated event", citing Wales Online. The arena's own site publishes no capacity figure - its seating-plans page shows Seated Show, Seated/Standing Show and Standing Show configurations without numbers. Treat as a secondary-source figure.
