Vaults

Vaults is an underground club in the basement of Portland House, the 1926 former bank building on Bute Street in Cardiff Bay. The space takes in two original bank vaults with six-foot concrete walls, and trades on that raw, low-ceilinged setting.

Programming is almost entirely electronic - house, techno, drum and bass and jungle - with a mix of the venue's own Vaults Presents nights and promoter takeovers such as Critical Sound, Symmetrik and MKUltra. It sits inside Portland House but runs its own bookings and its own programme.
