About this venue
Victoria Embankment is a public riverside park laid out between 1898 and 1901 on the north bank of the River Trent, opposite the City Ground and a short walk from Trent Bridge. Its Grade II listed bandstand still hosts brass bands through the summer.
The open ground is one of Nottingham's main outdoor event sites, taken over each year for festivals, food and drink events and large-scale open-air concerts. There is no permanent auditorium: capacity depends on the licence and the site plan an individual promoter builds.
