Vinjehuset

Vinjehuset is the culture house in Åmot, the administrative centre of Vinje in Vest-Telemark, and it carries most of the municipality's public cultural programme. A season there ranges widely: folk-music pub nights, touring theatre from Teater Ibsen, concerts by Telemark symfoniorkester, tribute shows, Linda Eide's language show, children's performances, Bygdekino screenings, conferences, and community fixtures such as the rakfisk supper, the pensioners' day with fårikål and entertainment, and the autumn bazaar.
