About this venue
Vinyl Tap is Preston's vinyl-themed rock and roots bar, in a pub building on Adelphi Street that has traded since the 1850s, previously as Hearts of Oak and later the Variety, before reopening as Vinyl Tap in September 2018.
A single-room bar by the university, it serves up to five real ales alongside German-style hotdogs, and runs a weekly programme of open jam, quiz, open mic and live music nights, playing vinyl from a collection of over 1,000 records between sets.
