Whittingham Club

Whittingham Club has provided sports and social club facilities for over 70 years, now based on the grounds of the former Whittingham Hospital, reached via the access roads between Henry Littler Way and Tansy Road. It offers Sky Sports on three screens, two full-size snooker tables, two pool tables, table tennis and darts, cask ales from local breweries such as Joseph Holt's and Moorhouse's, and weekend food including locally made pies. Its function rooms are available for private hire, and the club also runs an adjoining campsite with drinking water, showers and chemical-toilet emptying points.
