Wallop Didsbury

Wallop stands on Lapwing Lane in West Didsbury, in premises that were a grocer's and then a video rental shop. It opened on 27 September 2014 as Wine & Wallop and shortened its name to Wallop in late 2024, one of three sites the independent operator runs alongside Knutsford and Prestwich.

The bar runs over two floors with a balcony, pouring changing cask ales from local brewers next to a long wine list, and serving cheese, charcuterie and oysters. There is music through the week, quiz nights and late opening on Fridays and Saturdays. Private hire is offered for birthdays and celebrations with tailored drinks packages, and the bar is card only.
