About this venue
The Yellow Submarine Bar is a Beatles-themed bar at Cains Brewery Village, Liverpool, built inside a submarine hull that was used as a film prop before the operators bought it. Inside are a graffiti wall, Beatles memorabilia and a small stage.
It shares a premises licence and food registration with Hippie Chic next door and is connected to it by an internal tunnel, but trades under its own name with its own social accounts. Both are run by the operator behind the neighbouring Black Pearl bar. The shared licence is filed by Liverpool City Council at 70 Stanhope Street, which is the house number for the pair.
That licence permits a performance of live music indoors, from 11pm to 1am Sunday to Thursday and 11pm to 2am on Friday and Saturday, alongside recorded music and the sale of alcohol, with the premises able to open from 10am. No capacity figure is published for the bar.
