Apply for the Crescat GO Grassroots Support Scheme
We at Crescat are thrilled to launch a brand new scheme called Crescat GO, designed to provide Grassroots events organisers, venues and festivals affordable access to Crescat’s industry-trusted event management software.
What is Crescat GO?
Crescat GO is a scheme, targeted towards Grassroots events organisers, venues and festivals and new live event Start-ups that have demonstrable financial barriers, and need to find efficiencies in their operations, reduce mistakes and increase collaboration.
In the landscape of increasing costs and operational pressures, Crescat is committing to providing significant discount exclusively to successful applicants of the scheme.
To provide this scheme, Crescat has partnered with leading live event associations Music Venue Trust and Association of Independent Festivals in the UK, and Norske Kulturarrangør in Norway. MVT, AIF and NKA have vast industry knowledge and experience of supporting the Grassroots and Independent sector and are working with Crescat to ensure the Crescat GO scheme reaches and serves its members in the best way possible.
Is my organisation eligible?
If you are a Grassroots venue, festival, or event organiser, or just starting up in the live event industry, you are welcome to apply for Crescat GO, using our application form here.
In the application form, you will be asked to provide information relating to the size, financial health and cultural reach of your organisation. This information will be treated confidentially and your application will be independently assessed against standardised eligibility criteria to ensure each applicant is treated fairly.
What do I get if successful?
Each successful applicant will receive access to Crescat’s industry-trusted software at a price point tailored for grassroots organisations with limited budgets. Whether you are a venue, festival or promoter, you will get access to our suite of powerful, collaborative event management tools that allows users to schedule events, manage programmes, schedule and advance artists, manage staff and volunteers, and include external stakeholders, like hirers, promoters, and agents, directly in the event planning process. Why is Crescat launching Crescat GO?
At Crescat, we’ve always believed in the power of independent and grassroots venues, festivals and promoters. Their events and spaces are more than just places where people gather; they are incubators for creativity, community hubs, and the stepping stones for emerging artists and industry professionals. The Crescat team have passed through these venues, worked with these promoters and contributed to these festivals over our collective career experiences and in our free time and in a lot of ways, they have shaped who we are as individuals and what Crescat has become, both as a product and as a team.
We have seen firsthand how these grassroots organisations play a crucial role in shaping the live events industry. Yet, despite their importance, many of these organisations struggle with limited resources and often turn to free solutions like basic event management tools, MS Office, or Google products. While these can help to an extent, they often fall short, creating more problems than solutions, leaving organisations to juggle complicated systems with little support.
This is why we are launching Crescat GO. To provide these venues, festivals and organisers solutions designed for their industry, not for the generic user, as we know you are anything but generic!
