About this venue
3Arena is an indoor arena on North Wall Quay in Dublin's Docklands, at the heart of Dublin Port. Live entertainment has been staged on the site since 1988; the venue has since been redeveloped and has carried Three Ireland's sponsorship since 2014. It is part of a global live-entertainment group and is regularly ranked among the ten busiest venues in the world.
The amphitheatre-style auditorium holds over 13,000. The building also has four club and bar spaces: two private members' clubs, the 1878 and the Studio, and two spaces operated by Three Ireland, the Three+ Lounge and Club 3. Bars and retail units serve drinks and snacks throughout, and there is a cloakroom and a box office on show nights.
The programme spans arena tours across rock, pop, metal, hip hop, country, R&B, folk and electronic acts, alongside stand-up comedy, family and film-in-concert shows, darts and wrestling. Recent and upcoming names include Kings of Leon, Simple Minds, Charli XCX, Stevie Wonder, Sabaton, Korn, J. Cole, Cody Johnson, The Pogues, UB40, Duke Dumont, Kevin Bridges and Bill Bailey.
