Preston Grasshoppers RFC has played at its Lightfoot Green ground, on the northern edge of Preston, since 1960; the club itself was founded in 1869. Alongside the rugby pitches, the clubhouse offers four function rooms of varying sizes for conferences, exhibitions, weddings and private parties, with catering ranging from buffets to a served three-course meal and a bar operating from 4pm daily. The venue is five minutes from the M55 and M6 and holds a Taste Lancashire Quality Assured Accreditation.
