About this venue

Scandic Nidelven stands on Havnegata by the mouth of the Nidelva in central Trondheim and works as one of the city's larger conference hotels. Most of its 21 meeting rooms have windows onto the river and natural daylight, and all are fitted with modern IT facilities. The largest room, Trondhjemssalen, is 520 m² with a seven-metre ceiling and panoramic windows over the Nidelva, taking up to 600 people; it divides into Trondhjemssalen 1 (360 m², up to 400) and Trondhjemssalen 2 (160 m², up to 180). The hotel says it is used for everything from large conferences and royal dinners to banquets, parties, concerts and small meetings. Mid-sized rooms include Møllenberg (120 m², up to 100) and the pairs Nardo/Lilleby and Øya/Sverresborg (113 m², up to 90 each, and 56 m² for up to 45 individually), plus Gamle Bybro (73 m², up to 60) and Munkholmen (40 m², up to 40). Smaller boardrooms are Strinda (46 m², 16), Torget (36 m², 12), Tyholt (29 m², 12), Festningen (31 m², 10), Ringve (28 m², 8), Bakklandet and Skansen (19 m², 8 each) and Ravnkloa (16 m², 6).
