The Citadel
About this venue
The Citadel is an arts and live music venue on the corner of Waterloo Street and Milk Street in the centre of St Helens. The building dates from 1861, when it was put up as a chapel for the United Methodist Free Church, and has also been known as the Citadel Arts Centre and the Citadel Theatre.
It programmes tribute acts, live music, comedy and theatre. It closed in 2019 and has since reopened.
