About this venue
Opened July 2015 as the first purpose-built Northern Soul and Motown club in the UK, named after the Bobby Paris song "Night Owl." Independently run by music fans. Programming has expanded from a soul core into Motown, ska, funk, disco, garage, psychedelia, rock and roll, Britpop, indie, hip hop. Vintage interior by Stax Creations, sprung wooden dance floor, hand-painted paisley murals, stage backed by two TVs showing 1960s clips
