About this venue
The Rainbow Pub is a Digbeth institution with over 250 years of history, restored in 2021 to reclaim its place at the heart of Birmingham's nightlife. Its basement doubles as a dedicated 200-capacity live venue, running gigs most nights across indie, rock, reggae, folk, funk and soul, alongside a Saturday night house band and DJ residency. The pub has hosted The Heavy, La Roux, Joss Stone, Ocean Colour Scene, Bastille and UB40, and won Best Music Venue at the 2022 Birmingham Music Awards.
