56 North is a gin bar, kitchen and working micro-distillery at 2 West Crosscauseway in Edinburgh's Southside, opened in 2008 and billed as Scotland's original gin bar. The South Loch Gin distillery operates within the bar and is visible from the room.
It carries a large gin and cocktail list alongside Scottish beers and wines, serves food, and has one of the city's larger outdoor terraces in summer. The venue takes bookings for parties, functions and private hire.
