About this venue
AAJA is a full-spectrum music bar, record label and community radio station operated by AAJA Music. Originally opened in Deptford Market Yard in 2018, that bar closed in March 2022 when its lease was not renewed; in 2024 AAJA relocated to a basement space on Comet Place, in one of the railway arches just off Deptford High Street. The venue hosts club nights, radio broadcasts, DJ workshops and community fundraisers spanning Batida, kuduro, techno, jungle and drum & bass, alongside a bar.
