Big Hands

Big Hands is a small bar and live event space at 296 Oxford Road, on the corridor beside the Manchester Academy venues, and a long-standing post-gig destination for students, locals and touring musicians. The single intimate room runs tightly curated gigs and DJ nights spanning indie rock, post-punk, psych, Americana and leftfield pop, and it is known for its record collection behind the bar, its rotating craft beer and cocktail list and a heated roof garden terrace. Sicilian street food is served from a kitchen operating inside the bar.
