About this venue
Cannonball House sits next to Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile and has been run since 2014 by Victor and Carina Contini. The building is on three levels: the Cannonball Bar at street level, known for its 150-plus Scotch whiskies, the restaurant on the top floor with views over the castle and city, and a private dining room on the lower ground floor.
The Glengoyne Room is available for private hire for 10 to 40 guests, with its own kitchen, entrance, lift and washrooms, and is used for whisky-tasting dinners, birthdays and weddings.
