Catch One

We are a premier multi-purpose venue, offering an eclectic array of events right in the heart of Los Angeles. Originally conceived in 1973 by Jewel Thais Williams, Catch One hosted numerous performers, including Sylvester, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Janet Jackson, Donna Summer, Whoopi Goldberg, Rick James, and Madonna. It helped launch the careers of a number of performers and quickly became known as the “Studio 54 of Los Angeles”. In 2015, Catch One came under new management and has continued the rich tradition of booking musicians of all genres, sizes, and cultures with a particular emphasis on LGBTQ+ and other underrepresented communities.
