Society Ltd

Society Ltd is a bar, taproom and events space in a converted former butcher's shop on Ashridge Street in Runcorn, entered from the rear under the railway arches. It serves locally produced cask and keg beers, real cider and cocktails, with a street-food kitchen and home-cooked evening meals, and runs live music, vinyl nights and comedy.

The taproom has traded as Society Tap Rooms and, since 2026, as Small Batch Tap and The Butchers Bar & Kitchen, the latter a nod to the butcher's tiles uncovered during the conversion.
