About this venue
The Strand is a pub at 40-42 High Street, Cheltenham, a short walk from the Promenade and the Brewery Quarter. It pours twenty rotating taps of British cask ales and craft beers alongside cocktails, wines and low and no alcohol drinks, serves pub food, and has a south-facing beer garden behind the High Street frontage that is covered in the winter months. Dogs are welcome.
Two rooms are let for private events. The upstairs room seats up to 26 or holds 35 standing, suited to birthday dinners, reunions and team get-togethers. The basement holds up to 60 and has its own bar, with music and DJ options available by arrangement. The pub runs a weekly quiz night and lists live sport, live music and special events on its what's on page.
