About this venue
The Swamp is DEYA Brewing Company's original brewery site and taproom on the Lansdown Industrial Estate, off Gloucester Road in Cheltenham. It sits across the yard from DEYA's larger taproom, The Tappy, and the two spaces operate together, so guests can move freely between them. The Swamp pours a rotating line-up of DEYA beers alongside cocktails and natural wines. Resident street-food traders serve the taproom yard from Wednesday to Sunday.
The Swamp can be hired outright for a daytime or evening event, holding 80 seated or 100 standing, with closing extendable to 23:00 for full hires. A smaller booth area takes 30 seated or 40 standing for drinks events with table service and a pre-booked drinks package.
All hires need at least two weeks' notice and can be booked up to six months ahead. Food is ordered through the resident vendors, and hirers cannot bring a DJ or live band, though staff will play a supplied playlist. Under-18s are allowed until 8pm on a full hire. The site is dog-friendly and accessible, with parking on the estate.
