The White Bear
Kingsdown pub dating to 1752 with weekly live music and DJs and a small upstairs performance room.
About this venue
The White Bear is a pub at the top of St Michael's Hill in Kingsdown, in a building that dates back to 1752 when it was a coaching inn serving traders heading to the docks below. It reopened in November 2022 after an extensive internal refurbishment and is marked by its eponymous white bear statue.
Live music and DJs run weekly, and a small upstairs performance space seating around fifty is used for comedy nights, film screenings, talks and fundraisers. CAMRA notes cask ale is not available.
