Headway Arts

Described as a ‘fantastic venue run by lovely people’ Headway Arts offers two venues: the smaller 80 capacity Whitestudio great for rehearsal, hires, intimate gigs and open mikes. The unique 200 capacity Bigspace is a converted from beautiful old church built for acoustics with a soaring roof and gothic arches. It has a great indie artist led vibe with arts projects exhibitions and inclusive workshops also available. Gigs include established artists mainly rock, americana, folk, blues and hip hop, as well as the odd wild card and supporting emerging artists, local grass roots music and community events, aiming to provide something a little different to South East Northumberland audiences.
