185 King Street opened its doors in 2011 with the mission of providing a space to support local musicians. At the time all the surrounding commercial real estate was empty, a skeleton left from the closure of Brevard Lumber in 2008. The concept of opening a music venue on King Street was met with a decent amount of skepticism and opposition, but founder Jackson Wine and supporters from the community worked tirelessly to figure out a way to make it work. Over a decade later, 185 is thriving and serves as a pillar in the regional music scene. Join us for music, food and brews in Brevard’s backyard.
