Fraunces Tavern is a historic landmark and the oldest & most historic bar in the city. It is known as the watering hole for many of the founding fathers and George Washington gathered his officers there to bid them farewell after the British Army left America at the end of the Revolutionary War. It offers pub eats and live music.
