Oakland Metro Opera House

Equipped with a full theatrical lighting system, state-of-the-art sound and a full bar, the Oakland Metro Operahouse is located in downtown, Oakland. The 6000-square-foot performing arts center hosts a diverse lineup of shows. The black box theatre design allows organizers to transform the space dramatically for each production and gives artists complete carte blanche in setting up their shows. The eclectic space has splendid acoustics with ample bathrooms, although there have been instances of poor hygiene and badly managed smoking areas.
